Walden Heights Nursery and Orchard is a certified organic orchard (note: Todd and Lori opted not to renew their USDA organic certification this year, but their methods remain the same) containing thousands of fruit trees, bush and vine fruits including an apple arboretum of over 500 varieties.
Todd and Lori have been growing fruit in northern Vermont for decades. They have extensive knowledge and experience in plant physiology including propagation, growing, pruning, and soil science. They are very strict with plant selection and techniques, making sure their customers have solid success. They do not encourage planting stock that is marginal in our climate or too fussy to get reliable food from. In short they are dedicated to help people grow healthy food to make a living, or to feed their family.
