This beautiful long oblong-shaped squash has a cream colored, green striped thin outer skin. The interior is a golden fine-textured inner flesh that is sweet and soft. A favorite here at Farmers to You.
Delicata squash can be stored for months, but are best eaten in the Fall, soon after harvest.

Have been getting this squash for the past few weeks. We have enjoyed it so much because it is truly delicious. Happy to see that we can get more this week!
This squash was a real discovery for me. I love how it can be sliced and roasted--without being peeled!--with just a little olive oil. The flesh is really creamy and sweet after just 30 minutes or so in the oven. It's my new "quick veg" for dinner as it requires so little prep and active time. It reminds me a lot of the Japanese kabocha squash.
