Beautiful, long tapered radishes that are a bright pink color. Crunchy, juicy and just a bit of spice make these an excellent accent to a meal, or an invigorating snack.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
These radishes are more like Japanese daikon radish then your "typical" radishes. They are fairly mild raw, but if you cook them (in a little water with butter) then it is better to peel the outside. They seem like they would also take well to being poached and then adding a spoonful of miso once tender to make a kind of miso soup.
The flavor is spicy, but not too hot to just pop in your mouth after a swipe in your favorite dip.
