Sweet and succulent, this is a mix of red, orange, yellow and green sweet peppers that were frozen at their peak last summer. They are a flavorful addition to soups, casseroles or quiche.
Keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

The peppers do not come as shown in the photo. They are sliced and frozen together so they must be used all at once or defrosted and then chopped.
I had assumed they would come as they look in the photo, I had hoped they would be usable like frozen corn, to throw some in here and there. As they are prepared and taste, I did not see the benefit over just slicing a fresh pepper.
Thank you, thank you for these - such a gift to have peppers year-round since I've stopped buying imported! Great tossed into a red sauce or some pad thai.
