These are beautiful Italian style "Black Bell" eggplants. Their dark purple, tear dropped shaped fruits surround a creamy white and slightly spongy interior flesh and slightly sweet in flavor. This eggplant comes one per order and is approximately 1.5 lbs.

These eggplants are harvested before many seeds develop and are thus less bitter than a very large eggplant. Picked fresh, and delivered to you with in a few days for the best taste. They are fleshy in texture and so makes for a great substitute for meat in a vegetarian dish.
