Also known as Ground Cherries or Goldenberries and related to Gooseberries, these small, golden fruits look like a tomataillo in a papery husk, but they taste sweet and slightly tart. As they turn orange, they are wonderful for snacking or to be used in a jam or as a dessert filling.
