This is a mix of various kinds of heritage tomatoes. Similar to heirloom tomatoes, they are a range of colors and have sweet, juicy flesh.

Unlike most tomatoes sold in supermarkets, these are grown in soil - and have outstanding flavor. Many "Organic" tomatoes are now grown hydroponically, which in the rest of the world is not allowed by organic certification. Hydroponic tomatoes are a good deal easier to grow and cheaper - but lack vitality and nutrition that only comes from soil.
