Organic Red Fife Wheat Flour

This heirloom bread flour is known for its red color and sweet, nutty flavor; it is prized by bakers for helping to create more flavor and a moist, cohesive crumb. This was once the standard bread flour in America, but is now rarely grown and therefore difficult to find.

Storage Tips

Freshly milled flour is best kept in the refrigerator or freezer.
While Maine Grains places a best by date on the packaging, the product will last for a lot longer if stored in a cool dark environment (freezer is best).
