This is a sweet, aromatic pear with smooth, buttery flesh, and yellow, slightly russeted skin.
To ripen, store in a paper bag at room temperature.
For long term storage, keep in the fridge.

Due to the challenges of our Northeast climate, organic certification of apples and pears is incredibly difficult. Their fruit is never sprayed; only in the flowering stage are the trees treated using Integrated Pest Management to cut down on the risk of scab. No chemical pesticides are used on the orchards.
