This a delicious and soft sliced sandwich bread, made with organic Vermont-milled flour.
Will stay fresh for up to a week if kept wrapped up tight in its bag.
La Panciata is a family-owned and operated bakery located in Northfield, Vermont. They have been producing quality and delicious Italian-style bread since 1992 when original owners Glenn and Lori Loati brought their Italian roots to the Montpelier Farmers Market and began selling bread.
Lovely bread for toast. My spouse prefers the whole wheat loaf we usually get, but I sometimes find slicing difficult at breakfast due to stiffness in my hands. I'm glad I tried this! The oats lend a sweetness I particularly enjoy in the morning. In my opinion, this bread is nice with butter, cream cheese, or peanut butter. It also lasted longer than I feared a sliced bread might (since my husband didn't reach for it and eat it quickly like our usual loaf.) Mostly being eaten by a single person (who admittedly likes to start her day with 1-2 slices of toast), it didn't spoil or go stale before the entire loaf was consumed.
