Rhapsody Teriyaki Tempeh is ready-to-eat and requires no additional preparation; you can eat them straight out of the bag.
Tempeh (pronounced tem-pay) is a traditional cultured high protein soy food originating from Indonesia. It is made from whole soybeans that are inoculated with natural spores from rice. The soybeans are then incubated for about 24 hours, and the result is tempeh. Because of this natural fermentation process, tempeh is one of the best sources of digestible vegetable protein, carbohydrate, and fat. In addition, it contains B vitamins, zinc, calcium, manganese, magnesium, iron, and fiber.
The Welters family run Rhapsody Natural Foods and make their tempeh in small batches in Cabot, using soybeans grown right over the border in Quebec, Canada, and certified organic by Ecocert Canada.

This is my go to for a work lunch when time is of the essence. Great cut up on salad greens or eaten just as is. Delicious flavor and good nutrients for a meal on the go.

This tempeh is delicious! great texture, just the right amount of flavoring, and thankfully, not very salty.

My husband and I have repeatedly tried tempeh over many years, and just never found one we liked...until now. And not just like, but love. This, as well as the BBQ flavor, make making a vegan or vegetarian meal so much easier. Thank you!

This stuff is so good I would stir fry this with vegetables garlic and onions almost every day if I could! (About 3-4 x week.) I look so forward to having this for dinner that I get so disappointed when I've run out. : )

We love this tempeh the most! We really like the BBQ flavored one & gave it 5 carrots, so really this one should have at least 6. Every member of the family loves it, from 12 to 60. Just like with the BBQ one, we fry it up hot for dinner and any leftovers (a rare occasion) we have in sandwiches or quesadillas the next day. So glad you started selling this!
