Butterfly Bakery of Vermont cooked up this pasta sauce for Dog River Farm, made with Dog River tomatoes, onions and garlic. This is a marinara sauce that could be used in a pinch for pizza and pasta to please all, with a mild flavor that makes dinner easy for the adults and enjoyable for the kids.
Refrigerate after opening.
I wondered if they had made a mistake in the recipe. The sauce literally tastes like nothing.
This is a VERY mild flavored sauce. In other words, it’s unfortunately the most flavorless sauce I can remember trying. Love the locally grown ingredients, but the taste isn’t there.
