The honeynut squash is cross between a buttercup and a honeynut, but is smaller and sweeter than either of those. Dark and easy to caramelize; small and easy to handle - the perfect squash! One is often just enough for one person, so this bundle of four is great for larger meals.
Store in a cool, dry place.
The honeynut was created when chef Dan Barber asked Michael Mazourek at Cornell University to create a smaller, tastier butternut. It has been in existence for under 10 years and is already planted in 90% of New England squash farms.
