Our Farms, Middlesex, VT

This pork is grown and raised by Ben Nottermann and his family on Snug Valley Farm. Ben and his family have been farming on their East Hardwick farm for over 30 years and while originally in dairy, transitioned to beef and pork production as a way to diversify and become sustainable.

We source our 100% grassfed beef from Tilldale Farm and Little Lakes Ranch. Both farms raise Red Devon cross cattle on a 100% grassfed and grass finished diet. The beef is dry aged for at least a week before delivery to us.

Von Trapp Farmstead's pastured, whey-fed pigs are a vital part of their regenerative farming practices, helping enrich their fields for future grazing while utilizing healthy products that would otherwise go to waste. Along with the organic whey from our cheese production, they eat spent brewing grains from Lawson’s Finest Liquids, leftover breads from Red Hen Bakery, and other vegetable and grain byproducts from local food production.
