Nutrient dense, beautiful and delicious. There is a medium size head in each bag, and since this is grown in soil please wash thoroughly before eating. Bright green ruffley leaves are sweet, crunchy and juicy. This lettuce is grown organically by River Berry Farm where David and Jane have been organically stewarding their land for 19 years in Fairfax, Vermont. They grow 50 acres of vegetables, a tremendous amount of wonderful food, grown with an equally tremendous amount of love and labor.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
