I am writing to express pleasure that Tierra Farms has just switched from plastic bags, which we cannot recycle, to the easily recyclable #1 PETE plastic. (I wonder if paper-board may be the next step). Weirdly, I notice I wrote a review in 2017 saying that the packaging is fully recyclable, I think they had been using PETE containers before switching to the bags.
By the way, the mulberry-pistachio mix is pretty unique for granola ingredients.
This granola has become a staple for us. Good that 100% of package is easily recyclable. The previous two reviews have captured the qualities of this granola.
The perfect blend of fruit, nuts, and oats. My new favorite granola!
This granola is scrumptious! I usually make my own, but had to try this version because it contains all my favorite ingredient, plus mulberries, which I've never had. When fresh they look like blackberries, but when dried taste a little like raisins crossed with dried cherries. Anyhow, this granola has lovely chunks, a great maple flavor, and is generously filled with pistachio nuts and coconut. I ate it by the handful with some tea, as if it were an oatmeal cookie. Next up is with almond milk for breakfast.
