These garlic heads average about 6 cloves per bulb, and while they are a little smaller than the typical store bought ones, they make up for their size with extra flavor. Typically there are 3 bulbs per 1/3 pound portion.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place. Avoid plastic bags as it will hold moisture and encourage mold, if you want to keep it in a container, paper bags are ideal.
Early in the season these are green and best used right away. As the season progresses they will be cured so they will store well.
Chop and use fresh in dressings and seasonings, or roast the entire bulb in the oven for a sweet and creamy accent.
Fantastic! Some local garlic is tiny in size but I found these bulbs to be not too small and not too big. Also there were about 5 bulbs in a shipment.
