A great first food to keep me going until a full breakfast. Dates are the sugar and fiber packed fresh (not dried!) fruits that help many Muslims recharge during Ramadan.
These delightful rolls are our new "sweet fix" after the kids have gone to bed at night. I never much liked the "plasticky" skin of dates as it seemed at odds with the creamy, sticky inside, but these rolls take care of that by just been a bite of sweet with the coconut on the outside which strangely complements the date. Truly nature's candy!
