Apple Cider

Making really good cider is a function of blending apple varieties to bring out the best flavor, and the flavor of Champlain Orchard's cider is refreshingly alive but not too sweet - just like a newly picked apple.

Ingredients
Pasteurized apple juice
Storage Tips

Store in the refrigerator.

Champlain Orchards, Shoreham, VT

Bill and Andrea press their cider on a refurbished 90 year-old rack and cloth cider press. This is a pasteurized cider that contains only the pure juice of a blend of Champlain Orchards' apple varieties.

Super delicious! Cannot recommend more highly. Was a hit at a friend's extremely socially distanced farm bonfire birthday and it made the occasion that much more special.

I'm an avid cider drinker (hot, cold, hard). This is great cider.

Note that any cider can vary depending on the apples used.

The only fresh cider I prefer is the one at Russell Orchard in Ipswich, MA. They don't pasteurize their cider, and whoever blends it does a great job.

Finally, it's great having a great, fresh cider available year 'round. I'm fortunate to be near a farm that makes its own fresh, pasteurized cider in Peabody, MA, Brooksby Farm. I support them and Russell Orchard when their open in season. Otherwise, the Champlain Orchard cider has been in my cart every week.

This apple cider is very good. I wish a gallon size was available.

Tastes much better than the store-bought cider.

This is amazing cider! Not only do we drink it, but we use it as a marinade for pork, and to simmer sliced carrots or sliced parsnips until barely tender.

This is absolutely the best apple cider we have ever tasted! It has spoiled us for any other cider. We order two bottles every week.

Excellent cider! Full flavor, but not overly sweet- this is a staple in our house thanks to Farmers To You!

I am not a big juice drinker, but this cider is wonderful and now a regular presence in my fridge. It's light, not too sweet and tastes like what it is- unadulterated apple goodness.

A really delicious, fresh-tasting cider -- different from the usual supermarket apple ciders.

Very good cider, a bit tart, not cloyingly sweet like some ciders. We like it straight and mixed with hibiscus tea, and of course hot with cinnamon sticks and cloves and tangerine peels.
