Black Garlic from Pete’s Greens is the staple you didn’t know you needed. The dark cloves offer a unique umami flavor with hints of caramel, molasses and balsamic; a perfect balance between sweet and savory that can be used in so many ways.
Wondering what to do with it?
- Warm a couple cloves in a pan with a dollop of butter and salt and smash into a toasty piece of baguette.
- Make a wine sauce using shallots, butter and herbs then serve over pasta.
- Make a black garlic aioli to accompany your grilling line-up this summer.
