As the days get busier with work and fall activities, it’s helpful to have some tried and true make-ahead snacks and meals to rely on. Here are some of our favorites!
- Make yogurt parfaits for quick breakfasts by layering your favorite yogurt with fresh or dried fruit and topping with a scoop of granola.
- Prep a delicious and easy to eat snack the whole family will love. Start with sliced cheese and salami, add sliced apples or carrots and a handful of dried fruit and/or nuts.
- Meatballs are the ultimate make-ahead meal. Prepare a large batch of Greek Meatballs to have for the week (or to have ready in the freezer) for simple lunches and dinners. To make the meatballs add plenty of mint, a touch of oregano, cumin, cinnamon, coriander and some pine nuts to ground beef. Form into meatballs and fry or bake. Our organic whole milk yogurt makes an easy sauce for these.
