Ingredients
3 cups of nuts - I like to use pecans but you could do a mix of 1 cup cashews, 1 cup pecans, and 1 cup almonds or walnuts. Make sure you are using raw nuts.
3 Tbsp olive oil or butter
2 Tbsp of herbes de Vermont
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp maple sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
Heat the oil and the herbs in a small saucepan over medium heat until aromatic - just 1 minute. Be careful not to let the oil overheat or burn.
Add your nuts to a large bowl and pour the contents of the saucepan over them. Sprinkle on the cumin, maple sugar and salt and stir.
Transfer nuts to a baking sheet (with egdes) and spread them out so they are in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes, checking after 10 to stir.
Let cool and enjoy!
