Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is a 20 - 30 hour/week position working within the Administration team at FTY. Responsibilities include weekly clerical tasks, communication facilitation across teams, and big picture development within the realm of human resources. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An eye for detail with an ability to see the big picture
  • Demonstrable capacity to follow-through on projects 
  • Clear boundaries and admirable work ethic
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks and Excel
  • Dedication to the FTY model and mission
  • Experience working in administrative and human resources positions 
  • Experience with/commitment to regenerative agriculture 
Staff support
  • Navigate hiring with team leads, including job descriptions, posting, candidate tracking, attending candidate interviews and documenting 
  • New hire paperwork, onboarding and company orientation
  • Update internal communication and tracking materials with new staff information
  • Schedule and track employee review processes in coordination with team leads and the Peer Review schedule; update review processes as necessary
Clerical support
  • Support biweekly payroll along with technical processes around timesheets and time tracking systems (includes adding new employee information into Quickbooks and timesheets)
  • OSHA filing and labor law compliance
  • Benefits tracking and implementation
Big Picture support
  • Oversee and update company handbook and orientation materials
  • Communicate policy changes to entire staff as needed
  • Develop and implement benefits program 
  • Track salary ranges and compensation structure for all employees
  • Create agenda and facilitate team and committee meetings, including but not limited to pick meetings and PRC meetings
  • Navigate and investigate situations of staff concern in accordance with FTY policies
