To prepare; slice in half, scoop out the seeds, and put cut side down on an oiled dish. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Alternately, slice into 1-2 inch rings, scoop out the seeds and steam until tender, about 20 minutes. No need for butter or salt. Eat the skin and all.
Delicata squash can be stored for months, but are best eaten in the Fall, soon after harvest.
