Using classic ingredients for stocks, Joe roasts them in order to build flavor- the way he was taught in France many years ago.
Joe's vegetable stock gets it’s nice savory flavor from the roasted mushrooms, along with fresh thyme, white wine and the classic roasted onions, garlic, carrots and celery.
Joe does not use msg, or any other type of flavor “enhancer”. It just takes time to do it right and start with quality local ingredients.
This soup stock is low in sodium and only contains 6 ounces of salt for 10 gallons of finished product. That is less than a 10th of an ounce per 24 oz container. Most store bought soup stocks are much higher in salt as that is where most of their flavor comes from.
This stock makes a great base for all your soups and stews, or gravy.
Keep refrigerated, or freeze for later use.
