Champlain Orchards grows the following varieties of European Pears: Potomac, D’Anjou, Harrow Sweet, Shenandoah, Magness, and Seckel. This three pound tote bag is their choice variety for the week, depending on ripeness and hardiness for shipping.

Bill and Andrea at Champlain Orchards grow both organic fruits and minimally spray fruit where organic production is too difficult.

They specialize in apple products and have figured out how to store apples so even a Mac tastes like it's right off the tree in April! Their apple crop as well as their stone fruit crops are minimally sprayed to manage pests in an integrated practice with natural methods.

Fruits not indicated as Organic are minimally sprayed.

Enjoy these pears on their own, for breakfast with yogurt, or, baked into a pie or tart. Also delicious when paired with Blue Cheese in a salad, or on top of a Pizza.

Store in the refrigerator, or on the counter to encourage ripening.
