We are lucky to have Vermont Soy, who processes their artisan tofu in small batches, and sources their organic soy beans regionally. This organic tofu is a critical protein for our Vegetarian and Vegan families.
As Vermont Soy has grown to produce more than fresh soy milk, so has their sourcing. In order to meet the demand of their sales, they now source organic, non-GMO soybeans from Prograin in Canada, just an hour north of their operation in Hardwick.
Enjoy diced in a miso soup, add to a stir fry or slice and fry until crispy!
If you do not use this within the week you receive your order - put it in the freezer. Some of our families report that it further improves the texture too.
