European cucumbers are sweet, crunchy and delicate. They have much smaller seeds and a thin skin which makes their flavor less bitter than the average slicing cuke.
Enjoy fresh, plain or sprinkled with salt and a light vinegar. Also great in salads, raita, cold soups, or a simple platter of fresh tomatoes and sliced cucumbers.
Keep these in a plastic bag in the fridge as their thin skin does not keep them from drying out like the later field cucumbers.
