Celery was orginally an aromatic bitter herb known as smallage. What was a thin stalked pungent herb, celery as we know it today has been cultivated for thick, mild flavored stalks. Organically grown in beautiful soil gives this celery its full flavor and lots of crunch.
Delicious eaten raw on it's own, chopped into salads, or sauteed with carrots and onions as a base for sauces and braises.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
