These garlic chives can be used interchangeably with garlic, onions, scallions or common chives. They have a more robust garlic flavor than the common chive, and add more color to a dish than it's white bulbed relatives.

Use garlic chives as you would other alliums, chopped into a stir fry, salad dressing, soup, potato salad and so much more! It's easiest to add chopped chives to your favorite dishes by using a pair of kitchen scissors. Chopped chives can be frozen and added to dishes anytime. Fresh chives are more pungent than raw, so for a more sweet onion flavor try cooking them lightly.


Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
