Yes, Bob and his family DO grow Cranberries in Vermont! Cranberries are actually in the Blueberry family and are extremely hardy. Bob has decided not to certify them Organic because he feels he can produce even better berries with fewer chemicals if he uses the biological anti fungal agent that is not on the Organic List presently.
Use these fresh berries to make sauces, jellies, and jams, or add them into an apple pie for a splash of color. But please don't forget about cranberries after the holidays. Why miss out on such a delicious flavor!
