The Liberty Apple is best eaten raw as a dessert apple, but is also very nice sauced, resulting in a beautiful pink color. If you sauce with Macintosh, throw in a couple of Liberty's for color and complexity of flavors.
Fresh apples are best stored in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
