This Week’s Bounty: A new Coffee Roaster, Kale, Fresh Pork and fixins for Shepherd’s Pie

Last week Greg cooked up a classic Shepherd’s Pie for our Tuesday staff dinner – comforting, simple and so delicious, we’re featuring some of the key ingredients this week at 10% off:

  • Frozen Corn: $4.40 (normally $4.90)
  • Gold Potatoes: $4.40 (normally $4.90)
  • Ground Beef: $8.30 (normally $9.25) These packages are slightly under our approximate one-pound package, so we’re dropping the price.
  • Tempeh: $3.50 (normally $3.90)

Don’t forget the Yellow Onions, Carrots, Ground Lamb and Cheddar Cheese….

These menus are designed for simple, easy cooking that doesn’t require a recipe beyond salt, pepper, olive oil and an oven at 375 or a stovetop on medium-high.

This Week’s Bounty: Fresh Lamb, Pea Tendrils, Goat Cheese and a New-Old way of Egg Production

Enjoy a an Omelette or Scramble with lightly sauteed Pea Tendrils and your choice of  Goat Feta or Chevre, an egg salad sandwich with some delicate pea tendrils for texture, or a salad of Spinach, pea tendrils and sliced hard boiled egg.

This Week’s Bounty: Colorful Spuds, Organic Flour, Smooth Maple and Coconut Ice Cream

Snacks from our pantry are still 10% off:

  • Matzoh– from Patchwork Bakery- an excellent spelt cracker with a mix of seeds and a perfect crunch
  • Hummus– from Screamin Ridge Farm- enjoy with Carrot sticks, Matzoh or on a sandwich
  • Cheese Curds– from Sweet Rowen Farmstead- addictive as a quick snack, or try them pan fried for breakfast with eggs and toast
  • Dried Fruit, Nuts and Seeds– from Tierra Farm- intentionally sourced, these fruits and nuts round out a pantry.
