This Week’s Bounty: Apple Cider, Plums, Delicata Squash, Leeks, Poblano Peppers and Chicken Liver

Have you tried our Shredded Melting Cheese from the Cellars at Jasper Hill? We’ve lowered the price to $12.20 this week (normally $13.60).  

This is a blend of a few of your favorite cheeses: Alpha Tolman, Landaff and Cheddar, already shredded for your convenience! Enjoy on pizza, in mac & cheese, grilled cheese (with our Smoked Ham for a real treat!), or in a summer squash gratin.

Delicata SquashBurnt Rock Farm- this sweet early ripening winter squash is excellent steamed or roasted

Poblano PeppersRiverberry Farm- dark green mild chiles are full flavored with a hint of heat. An excellent roasting pepper.

Leeks– Pete’s Greens- a delicious, mild allium, perfect in soups, quiche, or roasted with carrots and beets

Red Radish Bunches– Jericho Settlers Farm- crunchy with a hint of spice, excellent raw or quick pickled
