Turkey Update from Misty Knoll:

For those of you who are wondering, ‘What happened to the turkey?!?’ Well, Misty Knoll is working on it! Due to an unexpectedly high sales season for all turkey (breast, thigh, ground, etc.), they’ve had a lag in production. The next round of birds are growing and they hope to bring back the turkey in mid-September.

Patchwork Bakery’s Matzoh, or Everyday Spelt Cracker is back this week! Don’t forget to add this one back to your order, as many of you consider this a staple. In the words of one of our partner families, this is a “perfect go-with-everything cracker with terrific taste and crunch.” Try it with Farmer’s Cheese or Butter, or crushed and sprinkled atop a salad. You won’t regret it.

Champlain Orchards is making their Apple Sauce again with freshly picked apples from this fall’s harvest. Enjoy on its own, with Yogurt for breakfast, or as a side with Pork.

Don’t forget to check out our Weekly Menus.  These are pre-picked orders suited to different dietary preferences: Omnivore, Paleo, Vegetarian and Dairy Free, each accompanied with meal ideas.
